V Congress of the Azerbaijanis of the World in the city of Shusha has completed his work on April 23.
It is reported that on the second day of the Forum, the head of the Department for Humanitarian Policy, the Diaspora issues, multiculturalism and religion of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, Aliyev, presented the Order and Medals of the Diaspora representatives, awarded orders of President Ilham Aliyev.
In his speech, Farah Aliyev noted that he was glad to see the representatives of the diaspora in Native Shusha.
Then on behalf of the State Committee of Azerbaijan for working with the Diaspora, gratitude was given to state structures for support in the organization at a high level V Congress of the Azerbaijanis of the World in Shushe.
Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Shushinsky district Aydin Kerimov noted that the Azerbaijani Diaspora could make a major contribution to the restoration of Karabakh.
Chairman of the Management Board of the State Reserve of the city of Shusha Maftun Abbasov proposed to hold another congress in the updated and restored Shusha.
The following Congress documents were also adopted: resolution, appeal of representatives of the V Congress of the Azerbaijanis of the Peace for the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the appeal of the congress to the Azerbaijanis of the World, the United Nations Organization on Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO) and the United Nations Program on the Environment Environment (UNEP), to the international community on the mineral issue on the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from the Armenian occupation.
The forum approved the new composition of the Coordination Council of the Azerbaijanis of the World. President Ilham Aliyev was elected chairman of the Council, and Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov – Executive Secretary.
In his speech, Fuad Muradov noted that on the V Congress of Azerbaijanis of the world in the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, fruitful discussions were held, related to the further activities of the diaspora, and expressed gratitude to the forum participants.
