In Spain, They Declared Three -day Mourning

The Spanish government announced a three -day official mourning in connection with the death of the spiritual leader of the Catholic world of Pope Francis.

“We are saddened by the death of the great dad and a good person,” said the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister, responsible for the relationship between the Assembly of Justice and Self -Government, Felix Bolanos.

He said that three -day official mourning has been announced throughout the country.

announcing that the flags of Spain and the EU will be imposed up to half -comers and black ribbons will be tied to them, Bolanos noted that Pope Francis, who died at the age of 88, “had a humanistic, solid and reformist person and was known for his struggle against injustice and inequality.”

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez posted condolences on the social network X: “I am saddened by the death of Pope Francis. His commitment to the world, social justice and the protection of the most vulnerable sections of the population leaves a deep legacy.”

All government ministers, the leaders of political parties in parliament and the heads of autonomous governments also sent condolences in connection with the death of the pope.
