A grain corridor from Ukraine and Russia will be transported up to 50 million tons of grain. This was stated by the official representative of Turkish President Ibrahim Kalyn, writes Bloomberg.
“before the end of this year, when coordinating the grain center in Istanbul, which will be under the supervision of the UN, from Russia and Ukraine to world markets can be transported from 40 to 50 million tons of grain,” Ibrahim Kalyn said. According to him, about 20-25 million tons of grain are stored in the warehouses of Ukraine and 25-30-in Russia.
The representative of the President of Turkey does not exclude the extension of grain agreements. They were concluded for four months, but can be automatically extended if the parties desired.
