The corridor for transportation on the Black Sea of Grain and Agricultural Products will begin to act after signing next week between Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and the UN of the document on its creation, writes the Turkish newspaper Yeni şafak.
On July 13, four -sided negotiations were held on this issue in Istanbul, military delegations of Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and representatives of the UN took part in them. The Minister of National Defense of Turkey Hulushi Akar said after the meeting that the final document on this issue is planned to be signed next week.
According to the newspaper, the details regarding the functioning of the coordination center created in Istanbul under the auspices of the UN will become known next week when the delegations of the Fours are met. According to “Technical agreements, the transition process of the functioning of the grain corridor will be coordinated by the UN. In the ports, from where the grains are planned, representatives of the three countries will be located, they will also track the process of transportation directly from the exit of the Ukrainian ports to their entry into Istanbul.
The publication also claims that at the meeting in Istanbul, agreements were reached regarding the clearance of Ukrainian ports, what Ukraine will do, it will determine the route of the vessels with grains.
According to Yeni şafak, referring to diplomatic sources, it was not easy to reduce the delegations of Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul. “This is a great success, in fact, as well as the achievement of agreements on the provisions of the document,” the publication notes.
