Vladimir Zelensky was to clearly speak on the issue of Ukraine’s accession to NATO during a telephone conversation with Joe Biden, but did not do it. The Ukrainian political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov said on this channel “Capital”, RIA Novosti writes.
An expert recalled that during the negotiations, the leaders of the two countries supported diplomatic efforts in the framework of the Dialogue with Russia on the NATO and OSCE.
“That is, Kiev supports negotiations, which begin on January 10 in Geneva, then January 12, Brussels and 13 – Vienna,” he explained.
However, according to a specialist, Zelensky was supposed to voice the condition that “no one can prohibit NATO to take Ukraine into its ranks, and Ukraine join the alliance.”
