Republicans from the Committee on Supervision and Accounting of the House of Representatives of the US Congress began an investigation into the activities of the Democrat administration Joe Biden, related to the withdrawal of American forces from Afghanistan, and already requested data from a number of departments.
This is stated in the statement published on the committee’s website.
Republicans sent letters demanding to provide documents, correspondence and information regarding failure from Afghanistan, evacuation and audits of the Afghans who move to the USA. “
These messages were sent by lawmakers to the White House National Security Council, the State Department, the Pentagon, the Committee of the Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, the US Department of Internal Security and the US Agency for International Development.
The committee emphasized that the actions of the administration led to “catastrophic consequences for the national security of the United States and in the humanitarian sphere.” Republicans noted that the Taliban radical movement left in Afghanistan received American weapons.
Earlier, other legislators from among the Republicans in the US Congress requested information from the American departments regarding these events.
