The robber who took hostages in the WELLS Fargo Bank branch in the US state of Minnesota, is detained, sends a local WCCO radio station.
The confrontation of the criminal and law enforcement officers lasted almost eight hours.
FBI officers were able to delay the suspect after all five hostages left the building.
According to the city of Saint-Claud, where the bank is located, all hostages are safe, no one has suffered.
