In the WhatsApp messenger version for smartphones on the Android operating system, two dangerous vulnerabilities have discovered. As reported on the website of the IT company Census Labs, you can remotely hack the phone using the broke found and kidnap information.
Problems are associated with how the messenger is exchanged by confidential data with external storage devices. According to experts, hackers can take advantage of the vulnerability for remote execution of the commands needed to receive through-encryption keys.
Another vulnerability allows the attackers to send a victim, a specially created HTML file through WhatsApp. When it opens, a malicious program is activated that gives access to any resource on the device. Specialists are unknown about real attacks. WhatsApp users have recommended to upgrade to version 2.21.4.18, which is already protected.
