Turkish planes performing NATO tasks in the Mediterranean Sea were persecuted by the Greek F-16 aircraft, blocking the radars, the Turkish Ministry of Defense reports.
According to the statement of the department, military aircraft belonging to Greece deliberately blocked the radars to interfere with the missions of Turkish fighters performing the important task of NATO.
Turkish Ministry of Defense notes that the persecution of Greece was an attempt to aim at NATO activities.
It was also noted that the Ministry of National Defense reported to the NATO authorities due to the incident.
