Revenues of Azerbaijani Railway CJSC from the transportation of goods and passengers in January-March 2022 amounted to 71 million 347.6 thousand manat ($ 41.9 million at the current exchange rate), the Interfax-Azerbaijan agency said to the Interfax-Azerbaijani Government.
compared with the same period of 2021, income from the transportation of goods and passengers on the railways of Azerbaijan decreased by 6.3%.
According to the government, in the structure of income for cargo transportation in the I -th quarter of 2022, 70 million 690 thousand manat (a decline by 6.9%), including in international directions – 59 million 984.7 thousand. Manatov (decline by 10%), in the internal – 10 million 705.3 thousand manat (growth of 16%).
In the structure of income from cargo transportation in international areas for transit transportation, 26 million 79.7 thousand manat (growth of 13.8%).
Revenues from passenger transport on the railways of Azerbaijan amounted to 657.6 thousand manat (growth 2.3 times), all this volume came for transportation in internal directions.
As reported, in January -March of 2022, cargo transportation on the railways of Azerbaijan amounted to 3 million 810.1 thousand tons (growth of 1.1%), passenger transportation – 943.5 thousand people (growth of 98.1% ).
In the reporting period, the volume of transit cargo transportation amounted to 1 million 424.6 thousand tons (growth of 10.8%).
