In 2021, the State Fund of Social Protection under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Azerbaijan’s population made recalculation of pensions of 1,307 people who worked for at least six years after retirement by age.
As reported by Haqqin.az in the department, in accordance with the Law “On Labor Pension”, if a citizen continues to work after appointing him a pension in age, then every six years (72 months) his pension increases by an amount equal to the result of division on 72 Social Insurance Services.
“This makes it possible to more fully ensure the interests of working retirees, stimulates growing interest in active participation in the social insurance system among those who continue to work after retirement,” the Ministry says.
