India: After Avalanche Gathering Under Snow Mass, 41 People Remain

In the Uttarakhand mountain state in the north of India, the avalanche covered a group of 57 people.

According to Hindustan Times, 16 victims were saved, the rest continue to look for.

The natural disaster occurred on the road in the northern part of the state, not far from the border with the Tibetan Autonomous Region of China.

According to the authorities, 41 people remain under the snow mass. Access to the affected area is limited, and difficult weather conditions make it difficult to search and rescue work.
