India after a terrorist act in the Pakhalgam region in Jamm Kashmir suspended the “Hero Treaty” and asked Pakistani advisers to leave the country in New Delhi within a week.
According to Press Trust of India (PTI), the PAHALGAM terrorist attack was discussed at a meeting of the Cabinet of Security Cabinet (CCS) under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Modi was informed in detail about the attack. The meeting participants also discussed efforts to disclose cross -border ties of the attack.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of India Vikram Misri at a press conference announced the details of the decisions made at the meeting.
Having stated that the Pakistani military advisers at the Embassy in Delhi were declared “non grata persons”, Misri said that they were given one week to leave India.
The Minister said that the action of the “Hero Agreement”, signed between India and Pakistan in 1960, was suspended.
”The action of the agreement will be suspended immediately, until Pakistan convincingly and irrevocably refuses to support cross -border terrorism,” said the Foreign Minister of India.
According to him, the border point of the attari wagons is closed, those who crossed the border through this point may return to the same route until May 1.
Presenting that Pakistan citizens are forbidden to visit India by complex visas of the organization of regional cooperation of the South Asian countries (SAARC), the minister added that the Pakistanis in India on such visas is given 48 hours to leave the country.
MISRI said that CCS most decisively condemned the attack, noting that these decisions reflect the “policy of zero tolerance for terrorism.”

As a result of an armed attack in Jamma and Kashmir, at least 28 people were killed.
A group of armed persons opened firing at tourists in the Pakhalgam region, in the disputed territory, which is claimed by India and Pakistan and which is under the control of India. The Muslim population mainly lives in the area.
