India Launched Missile As Part Of Junction Mission In Space

Indian space research organization (ISRO) launched two satellites in space for joining in orbit as part of the SPADEX mission.

According to Indian media, the Spadex missile, the purpose of which is to demonstrate the “country’s accessories in orbit”, was launched into space at 22.00 local time from the Satish Dhavan cosmodrome in the Southern State of Andra-Pradesh.

“PSLV-C60 missile is successfully launched as part of the SpaceX mission. The rocket brought satellites to the correct orbit,” said the head of ISRO Sridhara Panicier Somnath.

According to ISRO, the main goal of the SPADEX mission is to develop and test the systems necessary for rapprochement, docking and cutting out two spacecraft.

The docking experiment is planned to be carried out on January 7, 2025.

It is claimed that this mission is key to future flights into space and satellite service missions.

Indian officials noted that “thanks to this mission, India is on the way to become the fourth country in the world with the technology of space doctors, after Russia, the USA and China”.
