The Ministry of Health of India reports about more than 40 thousand new cases of the fungal disease “Black Mold”, due to which over 3 thousand people died in the country, the Press Trust of India news agency (PTI) reports with reference to the Minister of Health of the country Harsha Vardhana.
“Mortality from fungal infections amounted to 3,129 cases, while a total of 40,845 cases were registered, of which 31 344 were those in which the nose, apparent sinuses and parts of the brain were affected,” said Briefing Wardhan.
Most of the cases of the disease fall on the states of Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamilad, West Bengal and Vyshe. In these regions, India also marks a very high incidence of coronavirus.
