India intends to deploy the first regiment of the C-400 anti-aircraft missile systems on the border with Pakistan, transfers the newspaper The Economic Times with reference to the sources in the Indian defense sector.
It is reported that part of the systems will be deployed near the western borders of the country with Pakistan.
Note that in New Delhi, they announced their intention to acquire C-400 in 2015. The contract for the supply of five regimental complexes VSC C-400 “Triumph” worth 5.43 billion dollars was signed in October 2018.
Earlier, the General Director of Rosoboronexport Alexander Mikheev in an interview with TASS reported that the supply of C-400 to India began with a lead of the schedule.
