President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with India Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Kyiv. The Ukrainian leader reported this in his Telegram.
The meeting took place on the territory of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War in Kyiv, where they set up a temporary memorial complex to the dead as a result of a conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine.
“Together with the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, they honored the memory of children whose lives were carried away by Russian aggression. The children of each country deserve security. We must make it possible,” Zelensky wrote.
This is the first official visit of the Indian Prime Minister to Ukraine after the independence of the country.
On August 8, Narendra Modi visited an official visit to Moscow.
