Indian Foreign Minister Noted Need To Reform Global Institutions

Global institutions and mechanisms need to be reformed, and the composition of the UN Security Council (SB UN) should be revised. This was stated by the Indian Foreign Ministry of the Subramanami Jayshankar, speaking at the plenary meeting of BRICS in the Authikch format / “Brix Plus” in Kazan.

According to the minister, it is necessary to reform existing mechanisms and institutions, and above all the UN Security Council, to form more production hubs, more stable supplies, strengthen transport interconnectedness.

Jayshankar also attracted attention to the situation in the Middle East.

According to him, the ongoing escalation in the Middle East is fraught with serious consequences.

“Any approach should be fair and long -term and lead to a solution to the problem based on the creation of two states,” he said.

The minister noted that all disagreements should be decided through dialogue and diplomacy. “International law must be observed without any exceptions, and we should not have any tolerance in relation to terrorism,” he concluded.

Jayshankar also announced the need to expand independent platforms in order to achieve a more equal and fair world.
