The criminals carefully thought out everything. In the league called Century Hitters T20, there were half a dozen teams, whose participants were local residents. They were purchased uniforms and equipment. The matches were accompanied by fake fans. The games were attended by judges and commentators.
Two high-resolution cameras broadcast matches on the YouTube channel, and the bets were accepted through the Telegram channel. Fraudsters were detained only two weeks later. In the 14 days of the existence of the scam, the organizers earned about $ 4 thousand dollars. According to police, most of the deceived Russians lived in Moscow, Voronezh and Tver.
