On the eve of HaqQin.az reported that Anglo Asian Mining Plc signed an agreement with the Government of Azerbaijan, which she grants three new concessions with a total area of 882 square kilometers.
However, in the Anglo Asian Mining report, it is emphasized that in the framework of the Agreement with the Government of Azerbaijan, the Company refused the rights to the Mine Soyulyl (Zode) in Kelbajar district.
“This follows from the assessment by the company’s safety risks and significant capital costs needed to develop a mine in the long run,” the company notes. At the same time, the company is negotiating with the Government of Azerbaijan on obtaining an alternative exploration territory in Kelbajar district.
