As of February, the total installed power of electricity in Turkey reached 117 123 megavatts. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey on the social network x.
“as of February, our total installed power of electricity reached 117,123 megavatts. While the total installed capacity of solar and wind energy is approaching 34 thousand Megavatts, the share of renewable energy in the total installed capacity exceeded 60 percent,” follows from the message.
According to infographics in the post, hydroelectric power station took the first place in the distribution of the installed capacity in resources with a share of 27.5 percent.
The following is followed by power plants operating on natural gas, with a share of 21.2 percent and solar power plants with 17.8 percent.
