Interpol has stopped the search for the former Ambassador of Armenia in the Vatican, the son -in -law of the Third President of Armenia Serge Sargsyan Mikael Minasyan, the Prosecutor General of Armenia reports.
It is noted that in the framework of the criminal case, M. Minasyan on March 17, 2020 was involved as the accused in the case of abuse of power, illegal enrichment, laundering of money and providing false information in the income declaration. On March 23, 2020, he was put on the wanted list and the relevant documents and justifications related to his charge were submitted to declare him on the international wanted list.
“As a result, according to the data received in the Armenian National Bureau of Interpol, it turned out that on the basis of consideration of Minasyan’s appeal on July 7, 2022, Interpol stopped his international wanted list,” writes the Prosecutor General of Armenia.
