In 4 provinces of Iran from severe poisoning caused by the use of methyl alcohol, 48 people died.

Hundreds of people were poisoned in the provinces of Mazenderan, Gilan, Hamedan and Zanjan over the past two weeks due to the use of fake alcohol, the Iranian newspaper Hamshri.

In four provinces, 48 ​​people were hospitalized in connection with severe poisoning with methyl alcohol. Many people completely lost their eyesight.

According to this information, 21 people in Mazenderan, 15 in Gilan, 11 in Khemedan and 1 in Zanjan died of poisoning.

People who produced and sold fake alcohol are identified and arrested.
