The head of the Iranian atomic energy organization (AEOI) Mohammad Eslam said that at the negotiations with the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi has not yet been reached by an agreement on the Iranian nuclear facility in Karaj, Interfax reports.
“The Karaj object is a problem associated with a joint comprehensive action plan (CSPD), and those who have not fulfilled their obligations and left the transaction, have no right to comment on the facility. This is what Islamic Republic will never accept “,” said Eslam.
According to him, negotiations with the IAEA did not fail, but to solve some issues requires more time.
Eslam also noted that the Karage complex, based on the provisions of the CSPD, is not subject to the Agreement on the guarantees between Iran and the IAEA.
Previously, Grossi in an interview with Associated Press (AP) said that restrictions on the access of IAEA inspectors to the objects of Iran’s nuclear program faces incorrect perception of the situation by the world community. He stressed that Tehran “is not going anywhere” from the IAEA inspectors, if Iran wants to be “respected country in the Commonwealth of Nations.”
