Iran will begin the production of satellites with Russia, the Minister of Communications and Information Technologies of Iran Isa Zarepur said at a press conference in Tehran.
As IRNA reports, the minister presented information about the Hayyam satellite, launched the day before by Russia with the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
According to him, the satellite reached orbit at a distance of 500 km, and the signal from the satellite has already been received four times. “Iran will create a joint line with Russia by the production of the second, third and fourth versions of this satellite,” the minister said.
