Iran’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Seed Abbas Musavi said that Tehran and Baku open a new chapter in neighborhood relations, reports Tehran Times.
“thanks to the wisdom of leaders and diplomats of the two countries, we were able to overcome tensions. In our region, a new head of relations between two friendly countries, fraternal peoples, neighbors, Muslims began,” the ambassador noted.
According to him, the passing point in this issue was the meeting of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Iran Ilham Aliyev and Ibrahima Raisi in Ashgabat.
He also reminded the recent visit of the head of the Iranian Mid of Hosein Amir Abdollahian to Baku, where he spent several meetings at the highest level.
“Negotiations in Baku were fruitful. Following the meeting, Iranian Foreign Minister said that during the visit, very good agreements were achieved for the development of the relations of Iran and Azerbaijan,” Musavi emphasized.
