Observation cameras installed by the IAEA on one of Iran’s nuclear facilities could be hacked by hackers in front of the June attack. This was stated by Iran’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom Mochsen Baharwand, reports Bloomberg.
It is assumed that the statement of the ambassador can shed light on why Tehran does not allow inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency to reinstall the camera in the Centrifuge shop in Kerezhe.
At the facility located to the north-west of Tehran, in June of this year there was a mysterious explosion, which destroyed equipment for observation.
“It was sabotage from Israel, some cameras were damaged, an investigation was conducted,” said the Ambassador Baharwand, adding that Iranian judicial investigators are trying to figure out whether cameras could be used to plan an attack.
The representative of the Prime Minister of Israel, in turn, refused to comment on the accusations of Israel’s involvement in this attack. The IAEA also did not respond to the Bloomberg request to comment on the situation.
