Iran approved an agreement on abolition of visa regime with 33 countries

Iran’s authorities approved an agreement on the cancellation of the visa regime with 33 countries. According to Iranian news agency Irna, the proposal to cancel visas with these countries was initiated by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Folk Crafts and supported by the Iranian government.

The head of this Iranian department, Iranian Zargami called this step a “bold decision” and said that “from now on, the trips of citizens of 33 countries to Iran will be easier, and they will be able to get to know the historical, natural, cultural and religious attractions of Iran.”

He recalled that Iran with his 27 objects of the material heritage of mankind is on the 10th and with 24 objects of the intangible heritage of mankind-in 5th place.

The countries with which Iran canceled the visa regime, included: India, Russia, the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Mauritania, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Mavriki, Seychelleski Islands, Indonesia, Brunei-Darousses, Japan, Singapore, Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Brazil, Peru, Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia and Belarus.
