The Iranian Bagai, official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, condemned the US sanctions against more than 30 people and ships involved in the sale and transportation of Iranian oil.
According to the IRNA agency, Bagai said that new restrictive measures violate the principle of respect for national sovereignty and the rights of peoples to self -determination, enshrined in the UN Charter, and also contradict international standards governing free trade between states.
Earlier, on February 24, the US Treasury announced the expansion of sanctions as part of the “maximum pressure campaign” for Iran, included in the black list of persons and ships related to the shadow export of Iranian oil.
