Iran did not transmit Russian drones for the war in Ukraine. This was stated by the official representative of the Foreign Ministry of Iran Nasser Caniani, writes Reuters.
“The news that Iran provided the drones to Russia has political ambitions and is distributed to Western sources. We did not provide weapons to any side of the warring countries,” he said.
Previously, the same refutation was given by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Iran Hossein Amir Abdollahian. In a telephone conversation with his colleague from Portugal Joao Homesho Kravinho, he said that Tehran “did not supply and would not supply Russia with” Russia for use in Ukraine. According to him, assistance in weapons of any of the parties to the conflict can extend the war.
