Iran Detained Two Foreign Oil Tankers In Persian Gulf

Tehran (AA) – Iran, due to the alleged smuggling of fuel, detained two foreign oil tankers in the Persian Gulf.

According to Iranian state television, two tankers under the names “Star-1” and “Windteg” were detained by the Corps of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution (Ksir) in the Persian Gulf.

According to this information, there were more than 3 million liters of smuggled fuel on tankers. 25 members of the crew of tankers were detained.

So far, no information has been provided about which country the tankers belong or what is the nationality of the crew members. Fuel ships are towed to the port of Bushera.
