Foreign Minister Iran Hussein Amir Abdollahiyan congratulated the new Foreign Minister of Turkey Hakan Fidan on his appointment.
Abdullahiyan shared a photograph of the Turkish and Iranian flags on his Twitter account.
“I sincerely congratulate Hakan Fidan on the election of the Foreign Minister of the Turkish Republic. We communicated closely many times. He is a professional and a wise diplomat,” he wrote.
Iranian minister also wishes the Mevlut Chavushoglu, who serves as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey for about 8 years.
