Iran Foreign Minister: Relations with Azerbaijan are in right direction

Relations between Iran and Azerbaijan are in the right direction, we strive for a balanced interaction between Tehran and Baku in all aspects. This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Hosein Amir Abdollahiyan at a meeting with a colleague from Azerbaijan Jehun Bayramov.

As the Iranian news agency IRNA reports, Abdollahiyan and Bayramov met on the sidelines of the meeting of the heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Customs states in Moscow.

Iranian Foreign Minister recalled that at the last meeting of the leaders of the two countries, steps were taken to improve relations in all areas.

The leaders of the two countries have reached a good agreement on a comprehensive development of relations in the economic sphere, the opening of corridors, trade cooperation and the implementation of unfinished projects, Abdollahiyan noted.
