Iran’s Foreign Ministry caused the temporary attorney in the affairs of the UK Isabelle Mars after London imposed the next sanctions against the Islamic Republic, IRNA reported.
“In response to destructive and interventionist actions and statements by the UK, the attorney in the affairs of the British Embassy in Tehran Isabelle Mars was called to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” the report said.
The UK previously imposed sanctions against the cybercommunications of the Islamic Revolution Corps, the Supreme Councils on Cybersecurity and the Cultural Revolution of Iran, their leadership, as well as the chiefs of several Iranian prisons. According to the statement, organizations “participate or participated in serious violations of human rights in Iran and, among other things, are responsible for violation or calls to violation of freedom of speech, expressing opinions and peaceful assemblies.”
