Islamic Republic of Iran has achieved self-sufficiency with gasoline due to the implementation of a gasoline production program in the petrochemical company “Bu Ali Sina” by 100%, reports Irna.
According to the Ministry of Oil Iran, the petrochemical company “Bu Ali Sina” produced 85 thousand 610 tons of products last year.
“The increase in the production of petrochemical products freed the country from importing the strategic product of benzene, which is used as a basic product in detergents and hygiene products. To meet the needs of the country, domestic products can be used,” the trade director of the petrochemical company “Bu Ali Sina” Ardalan Sedagat said -Read.
According to him, Iran can also export benzene despite tough and unilateral sanctions.
