Today Iran can design and manufacture a wide range of gas turbines in accordance with world standards. According to İRNA, the executive director of the Iranian industrial group Power Plant Projects Management Company (MAPNA) Abbas Aliabadi said this.
“Today Iran is proud to declare that it has the technology to produce various types of gas turbines,” Aliabadi said, noting that gas turbines are used in aircraft, ships and power generation.
In addition, he said that Iran has developed a new model of the MGT75 turbine, which will increase energy supply by up to 60 percent.
