Azerbaijan in January-March of this year sold 31,763 tons of tomatoes in the amount of 38.822 million US dollars abroad, Report reports.
It is noted that this is more compared to the same period last year, this is more by 83 %.
30,989 tons were delivered to Russia in the amount of 37.38 million US dollars, 647.02 tons in Belarus worth 1.24 million US dollars, 90 tons in Poland in the amount of 148.5 thousand US dollars, in Ukraine – 35.5 tons in the amount of 58.85 thousand US dollars (there were no supplies in March), in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) – 0.86 tons of products worth 1.11 thousand US dollars.
Compared to indicators a year earlier, deliveries to Russia grew by 76.6% and 84%, respectively, by Belarus – 38.5% and 3.7 times, to Poland – 2.6 times and 4.3 times , to Ukraine – by 60% and 32.8%, in the UAE – by 99.2% and 96%.
During the reporting period, 666.6 tons of tomatoes in the amount of 704.9 thousand US dollars were delivered to Azerbaijan, which is 18.8% and 61% more than the same period last year, respectively.
562.43 tons were imported from Russia in the amount of 646.24 thousand US dollars, 95.77 tons in the amount of 53.88 thousand US dollars from Turkmenistan, 8.18 tons from Iran in the amount of 4.5 thousand dollars of dollars USA, from Turkey – 0.22 tons worth 0.28 thousand US dollars.
Compared to the indicators of the first 3 months of 2021, deliveries from Russia increased 2.5 times and 2.6 times, respectively, from Turkmenistan – 5.2 times and 9.8 times, from Iran – 273 times and 225 once. A year ago, tomatoes from Turkey were not purchased.
