Iran released the South Korean Tanker Hankuk Chemi and its crew in January in the Persian Gulf of Gulf. According to TASS, Yonhap reported this to the South Korea Foreign Ministry.
According to him, the ship with 13 crew members on board has already left the Iranian port.
Iran’s coast guard detained the South Korean vessel on January 4th. Western media as a possible reason for this was called the freezing by Seoul Iranian assets for $ 7 billion, conducted at the request of the United States. In turn, the Iranian side claims that the tanker was detained due to the pollution of the water of the bay.
