According to Reuters, protests due to the reduction of state subsidies for food and a sharp jump in prices provoked the access to the street and with political slogans – the Iranians allegedly burn portraits of higher leaders, urging them to resign.
Moreover, according to unconfirmed reports, four people were killed during the rallies (the day before, one deceased was reported).
