Iran: Uranus Enrichment Program Does Not Have Military Goals

Iran’s program for the enrichment of uranium does not provide for military goals. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Kazem Garibabadi, commenting on statements by the General Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Mariano Grossy on the social network X.

Garibabadi believes that Grossy made statements based on scenarios and assumptions, and not on technical reports prepared by inspectors. According to the Iranian diplomat, this approach is contrary to the charter of the Magate.

“Iran’s program for the enrichment of Uranus does not have military goals. In accordance with the day (an agreement on non -distribution of nuclear weapons), there are no restrictions on the level of enrichment if it is under the control of the IAEA and does not interfere with the achievement of peaceful goals,” said the deputy head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry .

Garibabadi noted that the development of Iran’s nuclear program is carried out in accordance with technical needs and under the control of the IAEA.

Earlier, the head of the Magate Grossy said that Iran accelerated the enrichment of Uranus to the level that is necessary to create weapons.
