Iranian parliament by a majority vote approved Iri’s accession to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Mehr said.
205 parliamentarians voted for joining, three opposed, four more abstained.
The representative of the National Security Commission and the Foreign Policy of the Islamic Council, Abolfazl Amuy, said that the volume of economic exchanges in the organization is very large, given the membership of Russia and China.
