Iraq: Court To Dissolve Parties Associated With RSC

The Iraq Supreme Council decided to dissolve three so -called parties associated with the terrorist organization of the RSC.

The decision made by the Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq has leaked to the local press.

According to the decision, on the request and complaint of the Iraq national security sub -sequence, the activities of the so -called “Party of Democrats and Freedom of the Yezids”, the “Party of the Front of the Democratic Struggle” and “Tevger Azadi”, which are associated with the terrorist organization of the Red Army, are prohibited. In addition, the court also decided to confiscate the property of these groups.

The decision indicated that the connections of these parties with the terrorist organization of the RSC were also confirmed by the Iraqi intelligence service and the prime minister’s office.

The Iraqi government on July 23 instructed to determine the terrorist organization of the RSC as a “prohibited organization” in official correspondence in state institutions.
