Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Iraq Fuad Hussein said that security and stability in Syria are vital for regional security.
According to the written application of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hussein, as part of the “World Economic Forum” (VEF) in Davos, Switzerland met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland Ignazio Kassis.
During the meeting, bilateral relations were discussed, as well as events in Syria and the Middle East.
“Safety and stability in Syria are vital for regional security,” Hussein said, emphasizing that there is a close relationship between Syria security and stability in the region.
Iraqi Foreign Minister also drew attention to the need to accept a dialogue as the main tool to reduce tension and achieve the regional world.
Prime Minister of the Kurdish regional autonomy of Iraq (Territory) in Davos, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the New Syrian administration Assad Hassan Sheybani.
According to the written statement of the government of the region during the meeting, Sheybani said that the role of the Kurds in Syria is very important: “Kurds are our brothers and sisters and are a fundamental and real component of Syria. We confirm that their rights will be protected and defended.” < /p>
Sheybani also invited the Prime Minister of the Territory of Masro Barzani to visit Damascus.
Masurur Barzani emphasized that they attach great importance to the preservation of the world and stability in Syria and are ready to provide any support and assistance to the Syrian people.
“The parties also agreed with the importance of protecting the rights of all ethnic groups in Syria, including the Kurdish people,” the statement said.
