About this, the Iraqi diplomat said at the seminar “Priorities, risks and opportunities in Irako-Turkish relations” in Baghdad.
The representative of the department believes that Fidan’s visit will also be the basis for the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Iraq.
“Turkey and Iraq important neighboring countries. Bilateral relations are built in the spirit of partnership. Turkey and Iraq also have common interests and risks,” he said.
According to him, the Iraqi government after 2003 attaches great importance to relations with Turkey. An important evidence of this created between the countries of the strategic cooperation, he said.
