Iraq Prime Minister Announced Rapid Completion Of Coalition Mission Led By United States

The end of the mission of the International Coalition, led by the United States in Iraq, will be announced in the near future. This was stated by Prime Minister Iraq Mohammed Shia al-Sudani.

“Iraq of 2024 is not the same as Iraq of 2014. We defeated the deash thanks to the victims and the position of the Iraqi people. We came to the conclusion that there is no longer any need for a coalition from 86 countries,” the head said Governments in an interview with Bloomberg.

According to the US Ministry of Defense, at present, in Iraq, within the framework of the “Unshakable determination” mission, there are about 2.5 thousand American military personnel.
