Iraq, Türkiye, UAE And Qatar Created Coordination Center Of Project “Development Road”

Iraq Minister Reszak Mukhaibis said that the ministers of the transport of Iraq, Turkey, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) agreed to create a coordination center for the joint management of the work “Development Road”.

According to him, a memorandum of understanding is agreed.

Muhaibis made a statement for the press after the second meeting of the Four -sided Council of Ministers on the project “Development Road” in the capital of Baghdad, which was attended by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey Abdulkadir Uralogl.

Iraqi Minister said that coordination consent to joint management of the work “Development Road” was reached. He announced the text of the final declaration, which says:

– a decision was made to work on establishing joint cooperation between the member countries

– intensify the joint cooperation necessary for the implementation of all work related to the project “Development Road”

– Encourage the participating countries to exchange knowledge and experience in order to promote the achievement of the projects

– work on creating opportunities for effective and provided for cooperation with relevant international institutions and organizations

– To study jointly the ways of connecting with the project for the transportation of goods and passengers

– concentrate efforts to turn the “development road” into an attractive international corridor and an effective alternative for international road transport
