Israeli officials warn that their country will take action in response to attacks in the Indian Ocean on the Mercer Street tanker, reported by Israeli media on Saturday.
The media lead the words of an unnamed Israeli official who explained that Israel could hardly leave the occurrence without reaction, since the Japanese tanker operator is an Israeli company.
Walla News portal leads the words of the official: “The only question is when and how we will take response actions.”
Earlier in the US Navy stated that the first incident data reports indicate that the attack, apparently, was committed by drone.
Earlier it was reported that the Japanese Mercer Stree tanker, which followed without cargo from Dar Es-Salaam in El Fujair, was attacked in the north of the Indian Ocean. As a result, two members of the crew were killed – a subject to Britain and a citizen of Romania.
