The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel on the evening of April 28 issued an urgent warning regarding the situation in Transnistria, Israeli media reported.
“In connection with the deterioration of the security situation in the region and due to the inability to provide any assistance to Israeli citizens there, the Israelis should immediately leave the region,” the Israeli Foreign Ministry warned.
The media recall that the last time the Israeli Foreign Ministry published such statements shortly before the start of Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine.
On April 25, the building of the Ministry of State Security in Tiraspol was fired from manual grenade launchers. On April 26, unknown people blew up two antennas of the Transnistrian radiotea center in the village of Mayak. The leader of the Transnistrian separatists Vadim Krasnoselsky accused Ukraine of these attacks.
