The Islamic Jihad movement is still negotiating with the Egyptian mediator regarding the state of calm in the gas sector after the Dawn operation. They are concerned that Israel is trying to violate some provisions that, as he claims, are part of the ceasefire agreement, reports Cursor.
The officials of the Islamic Jihad reported to the Lebanese newspaper Al-Ahbar that in recent days, representatives of the organization held intensive negotiations with senior officials in Egypt on the release of representatives of the movement. However, they believe that the court decision to extend the detention of the leader of the Bassam Al-Saadi movement for six days is an attempt from Israel to evade his obligations.
At the same time, the Islamic Jihad threatens a military answer if two prisoners are not released in the near future and if Halil Avavada dies as a result of his hunger strike.
