Israel’s Knesset approved government led by Netanyahu

Knesset (Israeli Parliament) spoke out for trust created by the leader of the Likud party Benjamin Netanyahu, TASS reports.

During the electronic vote, 63 deputies out of 120 spoke out for trust in the new Cabinet, 54 voted against.

Netanyahu is already offering as a new prime minister of Israel, the oath of ministers began.

In the new government of Netanyahu, 31 minister and 5 deputy ministers. The government coalition, in addition to the Likud party, included the ultra -orthodox blocks of Shas and the “United Judaism of the Torah”, as well as the ultra -right political parties “Religious Zionism”, “OCMA EHITS” (“Jewish power”) and “Noah”. She controls 64 out of 120 seats in the Knesset.

This is the sixth premiere in the political career of Netanyahu and the 37th government of Israel. Netanyahu previously headed the Cabinet of Ministers during the period from 1996 to 1999 and from 2009 to 2021. From the moment of his oath, Yair Lapid stopped performing the functions of the head of the transition government and moved to the opposition.
